Fresh from the printer's, the brand new TextielLab Yearbook was launched this week at the renowned Salone del Mobile design show in Milan. A great project to be involved in and I'm very proud of the result. Amazing projects that made this year's cut are: a 3D knitted lampshade, glow-in-the-dark curtains, woven songs and wild wall hangings. For sale at the TextielMuseum shop.
After a frostbitten childhood on the Canadian prairies and a stint of trying to drink tea with milk in the UK, I'm now living sub-sea level in Amsterdam, where I work as a freelance writer.
